OVERVIEW

Organization, Corporation. First seen Book 1, Chapter 47

The Valtay Corporation

The Valtay Corporation is a corporate system government known for its advanced technology. Its products include an inter-tunnel communications device, a tech-based personal shield and a pulse pistol.

Per Odette, it is one of the most powerful entities in the universe. Its people are a parasitic lifeform, not human, though able to use human bodies, with an aquatic homeworld and a strong preference for water-based hosts such as the Kua-Tin or a species called Gleeners. It runs a version of Dungeon Crawler World that favors android death machines and pulse rifles over the fantasy-medieval format used by Borant and the Syndicate, and it is confirmed to be running the next season.
Per Odette, it has an entire fleet parked outside the Borant system, ready to collect on a debt.

Book 1, Chapter 47: Three unexplained items in Agatha's possession appeared to be manufactured by the Valtay Corporation.
Book 1, Epilogue: Odette warned Carl to be very cautious if they're somehow contacting him.
